why noon?

why would the mbp come out noon when stores on the east coast would have been open for a few hours? Are they going to not sell new mbps to people until exactly 12? It would make more sense if they started it at 9 or so when stores open.

Where do you get the idea of noon from, it is usually early in the morning, and they probably won't have the new models in stock for a few days.

like the others, where did you get noon? traditionally, when apple does a soft launch/update as would likely be the case here, they just update around 8:30-9AM EST

I think it's offically annouced 9 am PST, hence noon on the east.
