I vote for an i7 mac mini with the same iMac specs. Except the monitor and the video card, they don't fit!

why not an octocore with blueray player and 1GB of video RAM and 16GB or RAM and a 4TB hard drive while you're at it?

Ok, maybe we can wait... I mean, both of us!
But I really need a mac easy to carry and powerful than a laptop.

the mini uses laptop parts, and that case is waaay to small for anything that puts out more heat that a c2d. I think people have come down with a case of amnesia, the Core 2 family are no slouches, just because the Core iX family is out it doesnt make the core 2 family slower.

You are right, but it's unfair to compare a core 2 to a quad i7. I'm wining.
Maybe with a bigger fan?

uh how will you find a monitor just as easy to carry?

I don't want to carry it, one at work one in my house.
That's where I would like to use my mac 96% of the time.
For the 4% remaining my iPhone is good enough.
Even for the keynotes I don't need a monitor.

Ok, I would buy something similar (even not apple) for anything less than 2500 Euros or Dollars. Suggestions?
