If the iPad Pro is so powerful why doesn't Apple make a build of OSX for it as an option for people that want to use it.

I think we're steering towards that direction. Adding a file system and multi-tasking to the extent that iOS 11 is a great direction. If Apple honestly made a Smart cover like the one from Microsoft (Keyboard and trackpad), and allowed users to move around the iPad with a mouse, that would be an absolute killer.

As of right now, the iPad is way too limited for me to transition from a laptop.

I definitely wouldn't have purchased one today if it ran OSX. It'd be just as bad as the Surface Pro.

What is wrong with the surface pro, the 3 seems to run win 10 just fine? Besides I am talking about the option to run OS X not the default OS it ships with.

It's better to make iOS better than making OS X worse by forcing touch compatibility

Who said anything about touch support? The iPad Pro should be powerful enough to support a bluetooth mouse.

Would software designed for OSX run on ARM instead of x86? Because it's kinda pointless otherwise.
