Not sure why I was even fooling myself, by not pre-ordering!

I don’t even pretend anymore. Once I signed up for the iUP I knew I’d upgrade every year. I am really looking forward to the bigger screen.

Both on Friday.
Wife and I both said we would keep our 8+ phones another year. Still we preapproved citizens one just in case we changed our mind. 6am release day we both preordered the Max. Yep. Planning on keeping these 2-3-4 years too. Cough. Tho we are in the sept 28-oct 5 delivery frame.

I am really hoping to see movement this week or early next as inventory starts to move around.
I said the same thing and then somehow my alarm goes off to pre-order @ 2 in the morning. LOL
Same here, and having early buyers remorse. More than any other phone, I really don’t see any tangible benefit this time. I was thrilled last year with the X and sending back my boat anchor 7+, which would cause my left hand to go numb from some pressure point in my palm. Why would I buy the larger phone again? Because it’s there and I know Ill somehow regret it if I buy the regular XS.
I may test drive one before I open the box in case I decide to take it back.
I was going back and forth the day of the preorder, but with yearly upgrades for only a few bucks more or less per month, it's just too easy.
Yup, they figured it out. I am capping myself at $50 per month or $600 per year though. I don't expect costs to go much higher for me as the base is more than enough.
