I would say its some sort of sarcasm... definitely not for real. That icon also exists in OS X. "Blue Screen of Death"
 
Probably to run SAP - their Point of Sale software. Apple are the largest instance of SAP in the world.

No, its saying there is a PC server on Apple's in-store network (all the computers are networked).

He took that screenshot in his local apple store and uploaded it to MacRumors. We know that apple's icon for a PC is an old beige screen with the BSOD.
 
This is in the Bluewater Apple Store in Kent.

I went through that list and found even more! One was at the Genius Bar, and there were like 5 more after that...
 
How odd, I just checked again and they all disappeared! There was also some Mac servers in the list :)
