So I have a DUMB questions but I must give you a back story as well, for you to understand my situation.

I been wanting an iPad for a while I also have a MacBook Pro m3 pro chip
Razer laptop 2022 3060 graphics card

So I just recently purchase a iPad Pro with the pro pen and the Magic Keyboard now I must admit I truly LOVE IT! But I truly can't at all justify keeping it. due to my work my laptop is always on. (Work for home so my work requires a laptop) now I truly can't really afford to keep this so in order for me to keep this I would have to sell my MacBook Pro to afford with out the monthly payment. (Don't mind as I game on my razer laptop and work on it as well) but my questions is what can I do with this iPad beside check email, watch Netflix and normal iPad things that well my iPhone does?

Now I know this is a stupid post please don't judge or make fun of me I am truly asking for real advice hear.

Idk why my job doesnt allow for me to work on an iPad, when it works for an amazon fire tablet? my work used a website that I can log on, but its say that ”this platform is not supported” I did email my job waiting for them to get back to me. does anyone know how to fix this? I try google chrom and Firefox and safari and even edge and still the same issue? I am unable to log on as it say it doesnt support it?

- If you like the tablet form factor (especially for media consumption)
- If you use the Apple Pencil
- If you want the best screen in that size
- If you generally like the iPad and enjoy using it, and you can comfortably afford it

It’s not going to be irreplaceable for you, most likely. It’s more something that may increase your enjoyment and convenience for certain tasks.

Since you have a Razer laptop, and you can’t keep both your Mac and your iPad, I guess the question becomes which do you enjoy more. Your MacBook will certainly be much more versatile for most tasks (with the exception of those that require the Pencil), but since you already have another laptop…. I don’t know. I think only you can decide there :)

For me, iPad is an amazing companion device to my Mac, I love it - but I wouldn’t use it as my only computer. I use it for drawing and consuming content. I will always want to have a Mac, but if you can do your work and enjoy your Windows PC, maybe PC + iPad is not a bad combo.

If you cannot justify keeping it I wonder why you made the purchase in the first place, what was your intention? Ultimately I keep work and private things strictly separate hence there will always be a computing need for my private life.

If you are just not sure, use the return period to iron out your use case.

Well at the time I thought my work, would work for it and I love the idea of an iPad as it is much more convenient than a laptop

My 2 cents... It sounds like the Ipad/Keyboard setup isn't needed at all since you have to use a laptop. The Ipad 13" with a keyboard is similar in size and weight.

I have a Macbook and IPad, but I went with the 11" ipad and a lightweight folio case, to serve a different function. I use the ipad for travel, couch, bed, coffeeshop. The ipad serves a completly different function than my macbook.

Of course you can keep the 13" ipad setup, but it doesn't sound like you'll use it much. 🤷‍♂️

This is the crux of the problem. I‘d suggest returning it for now until you’re sure it works (load it at the Apple Store maybe?) then consider buying it then.

Unlike times past, this isn’t going out of stock anytime soon. It’s best to be patient and wait IMO.
