Hi, when looking directly at a webpage with a white background such as macrumors page, the screen is white but when looking at an angle from the top, side or bottom, there is a blue tint. How come? Is this normal?

I went to different stores to check. From iPhone 13 to 15 Pro Max. They are all like this. Considered to switch to Samsung phone as I am not a fan of OLED but they also have blue tint when not looked directly at the screen.

If Apple later changes the screen of iPad and MacBook Pro to OLED, will the screens also behave like this? I didn't have this issue when using a laptop with a OLED screen few years ago.

now i see it

OLED (acronym for “Crap Screens”) can color shift any color. Some shift red, others yellow, others blue, others green. They’re bad.
