Why this strange notification?

This is about the Yahoo weather app, I figure I have a setting wrong on my iPad....

When I get a notification on my iPhone, lock screen or pull down, it looks like this:

But when I get the same notification on my iPad, lock screen or pull down, it looks like this:

What do I have set incorrectly? Thanks!

I have no idea of Swift or in whatever language Apps are written these days but I'd assume a programming error and not something you set incorrectly.
Looks more like instead of the actual information, the variable/type gets pushed.
Until someone disconfirms this assumption, I'd not spend any time on your end.
