Why use xserve

I'm thinking of getting a server and was wondering what's spacial about it ? any features not available on other servers?

You need to be more specific.

Xserve runs OS X Server, which other servers do not.

It's also well priced compared with other enterprise servers.

As a home media server, it doesn't compete well with the mac mini.
