Hi everyone,

Can somebody tell me why people keep telling prospective buyers of MacBook pros to wait "3 months"?

What happens in "3months" time??? Ive heard Merom is probably going to be released but is this official?? And is there some sort of Apple even taking place in 3 months time so that this will be announced??

Somebody, please take a minute or two to explain this to me...

Thank you

Ok there will be WWDC in August I suppose that sums it up. So basically people are speculating that Apple will update their MBP at WWDC? Isnt that abit too quick?

Also, it says that performance will increase 20% but battery life the same. Do people expect the MBPs to get cooler as well? As in the temperature?

easy...

they feel important thinking they know something that nobody really knows, but everyone knows that it will happen sometime, which equats to 3 months. Oh and all rev 1 things suck, so wait for rev 2...

Because waiting lets the guinea pigs find the bugs in them. Seriously, if you are a company wanting to buy new computers, but didn't have software, then why waste resources on something useless. I speak from my point of view, graphic arts, that until apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, Acrobat (not reader) and a host of other software, no sale. My paycheck depends on these apps and a computer that can't run them is useless.
