Earlier this year I flew to Germany with my girlfriend to meet her family, family only...no sight seeing, no touring, just family. One person there knew how to speak English so I thought I'd be bored to tears and I thought I was going to die on the way there. I wish I never have spent so much money on games and applications for entertainment over there. Since then I have grown tired of all my games and I narrowed at least 70-80 applications down to 10. That's right 10...and only 4 of them are games. Well at least I helped the development community!

I don't even like games, but I bought a few thinking that I might like them. I currently only use 1 third party app.

I only really like racing, golfing and music games. So Real Racing, Let's Golf, and Rock Band and with the exception of the amazing Edge I only kept.

Don't blame yourself for that. I have 5 pages of apps and I have only 3 apps for games - Hangman, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Tap Tap. The rest of my apps are basically utilities , productivity and organizing stuff . My iPod touch, however, has 132 games and 1 work-related and organizing app..

So how did the visit with your girlfriend's family go? :)

Well according to the OP he was bored to death… that's why he had to buy all those apps and games.
What the girlfriend's family thinks of him though… we'll probably never know. ;)

I wasn't playing games all the time. I mostly bought them for the plane but then I couldn't use them. Bummer. The visit went great and it was nice to see another country. Although my girlfriend and her aunt had to translate a lot of things for me I thought I was pretty social.

My girlfriend's father's side of the family is from Germany. Sometimes when I'm visiting her grandparent's house, they talk in German and I don't know if they're talking about me. Hehe. Her family loves me though.
