I'm talking about his eyes, the way everyone says he had this stare that was really deep, like no one else's. Does anyone have any idea what was so special about it?

The only thing I've realised, whether this is part of his "stare" or not, is that he never seems to blink when he talks, at least in interviews. He doesn't blink while looking at the interviewer, whenever he does have to blink, he looks away. He'll close his eyes and open them looking down while he keeps talking.

Perhaps you're unaware of the LSD & other hallucinogenic drugs he did in his younger years. It's well documented, if not highly published.

A fan of Jerry Garcia, he emulated him & built his own following as well. Garcia sold lots of music & Jobs... well you know the rest of that story.

I do know about him doing LSD and other drugs in his early years. How does that relate to his stare?

Pretty much everything about Steve Jobs that I know of makes me think he had some kind of light autism, ADD or something. People with these kinds of conditions can often be perceived as "intense" by others. That's my take on it.

If anyone thinks this is badmouthing Steve Jobs, they need to reevaluate their view on people in general.

It's a pretty common intimidation technique. I don't think there was anything special about Jobs's eyes. He just had that psychological technique down. I do it sometimes, blinking doesn't even matter, just don't look away.

I do it to people I don't like, who talk too much, it unnerves them.

People try and do it to me and I keep the stare, whilst raising one eyebrow, that's uncomfortable: changing your face while someone is staring at you.

I'm from London, you can get beaten up staring at the wrong person at the wrong time.

A lot of things are said about Steve Jobs and how great he was.

- Seven feet tall he was, with arms like tree trunks. His eyes were like steel: cold, hard. Had a shock of hair, red, like the fires of Hell.
- Kills competition by the hundreds. And if HE were here, he'd consume Samsung with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse.

In the end, some people idolised the guy and just see stuff that wasn't there in reality. I never saw anything particularly deep or intense about the guy's stare.

Fantastic, I believe all these things about Jobs existed.
