Its been a couple of hours and mobile me still hasent sent me my verification email? has anyone else had this trouble. I signed up with my iphone 4 today after the 4.2.1 update

Also having this problem. When I click on resend, it says 'Verification sent to' then just a period on the second line. The way it is worded it seems like an email address should be on the second line which raises the question whether the verification email is being sent at all.

MEEE too!!! its like its not taking my default email and inserting in so that APPLE sends it to my email. It just says "sending to ." and thats it! SOOOO FRUSTRATING!!! Glad to know that im not the only one with this problem! IF ANYONE FIGURES OUT A FIX, PLEASE PLEASE POST IT HERE SO THAT I CAN GET MY FIND MY PHONE FEATURE WORKING!

Thanks,
Pace

This fixed it for me!

Hi,

I had to go to http://appleid.apple.com And log in with the "Manage My Account option."

The account manager on this site will allow you to verify your e-mail address as soon as i did that the verify on the "Find My iPhone" worked.

My guess is that if you have an old Apple ID like I do we never had to verify the address before.

Good luck!:)

My ID/email is verified too, but the mobileme account itself seems not verified. "Resend confirmation email" says "a confirmation mail was sent to xxx@xxx" but no mail arrives....

I have a verified apple ID but still cant get mobileme to verify on my iPad with 4.2.1 installed. I tried creating and deleting my mobileme account at least 10 times, still no good :(

Having the same problem here. Have also tried mobileme support and applecare and none of them are taking responsibility.

Has anyone tried a restore?

Chatted with Apple Express tonight and found that this issue was a known problem. Whether it has now been addressed or because I gave them my information, the service is now accessible. I had previously found that my account at appleid.apple.com did not have an email address in the primary field and remedied that.

Registration Email

I had the issue and my email had @apple.com blocked. Once I unblocked this I got the email instantly after I re requested the activation email.

Strange - but it worked

I went to the apple site ( AppleID section ) and changed my email address to all lower case characters. Hit re-send and got an email in seconds.. Now I can set up my iPhone 4 with MobileMe... !!:)
