i have a first generation iPod shuffle. I turned on my computer then I turned off my iPod and plugged it into my USB port. After I plugged it in the file folder came up and I right clicked and ejected the iPod to stop the orange light on the iPod from blinking. Then I left it plugged into my computer for four hours and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong ?

When the iPod battery finally dies...it goes all at once. The battery is gone.
