Before the transition to Intel chips, hardware updates were
always motive for rumors and stuff. Of course, the same trend
still happens at full speed but why would Apple wait X months to announce
newer and faster CPUs when other companies are already selling
their models ?
Some people says is to avoid "self-canibalization" but no matter
what Apple decides to do, these are the street rules in the PC world.
I see many posts of anxious people looking for hardware releases at WWDC
but with faster update cycles, Apple will probably focus less on hardware
and emphasizes more at software/hardware integration, which it is what
distinguishes it from other companies AND operational systems.
What are your two cents ?
