Wi-Fi Ipad availability

I'm surprised that the availability of the Wi-Fi models is still so limited with the release of the 3-G so close. I had assumed that demand for the Wi-Fi models would be decreasing by now. I have called every Apple Store and Best Buy within a couple of hours of home off and on over the last week and nothing. I live in Canada so I was hoping to avoid going into the store twice. I also checked the Best Buy website for several US cities and Ipads are not available anywhere that I checked.

I dunno, could it be people in other countries are buying them up?
