Hey guys, so I’m having trouble with my Mac it keeps dropping wi-fi every 15-20 minutes or so, and the only way for me to get it to reconnect back is by turning wi-fi off and then back on again.
I’m currently running on an iMac 2011, on macOS Sierra Version 10.12.1
I’ve tried the following things but none of them have helped me fix my issue yet:
- Reset the SMC.
- Reset the NVRAM.
- Removed Existing wi-fi preferences.
- Set a new network location with custom MTU and DNS.
No other device that uses our router has the same issue so I believe it’s something to do with the mac, but here are some of the router settings:
- Running on 2.4 Hz
- Network mode is 802.11b/g/n only
- Channel and Channel Width both set to auto.
Thanks for any help!
