Wi-Fi issues with 14.2 (Xs)

Fairly sure this issue is slightly different to the other connectivity issues that others are posting about.

Initially, updating to 14.2 was great! My Xs has never felt so snappy. However, now I have an issue whereby even though the phone will report being connected to my Wi-Fi, apps can't actually connect to the internet.

For example: I use the WhatsApp desktop app a lot and now whenever my phone is connected to Wi-Fi it doesn't work as the phone reports no internet connection. When I wake the phone and open WhatsApp it has 'Connecting...' at the top of the screen until I switch to LTE.

Tried turning off randomised MAC address in the Wi-Fi settings but this did nothing.

Any others having this issue?

No issues here on my Xs.
First, try a restart. If the issue persist: you might try resetting your network settings.
Settings -> General -> Reset

Same identical issue with a brand new iphone 12. The only "fix" is turning off and on.
