Wi-Fi pop up box not opening

I upgraded yesterday and now when I got to work my usual extra security pop-up box is not coming up. Never had this issue before on any previous upgrades.

This is a work address so I have no background access or anything like that

What makes it worse is the web address that forces the pop-up login is also not loading as it keeps saying "....Cannot find server"

Any ideas would be helpful

Someone in another thread had that, or a similar, issue and had to delete all their VPN configs before it started working.

It might have been this one. I don't remember any more info.

Just updated to Catalina- connects to WiFi but no internet

I’m traveling in Japan and just updated and it will connect to wifi. but there is no internet any ideas to fix?

I managed to get a temporary fix for this by calling Apple. Had to delete my work wifi network from my preferences, boot up in safe mode and it prompt box finally came up. I logged in and restarted and it worked this time.

Hopefully I don't have to go through this every time I want to connect to work or public networks.
