I updated my iPhone 12 and saw the WiFi was super slow, I had already started the update on my iPad tested the speed and it was fine, once it updated it had the exact same problem, I’ve tried all the standard ways to fix and none work, I haven’t reset all network setting as I find it rarely fixes anything. I’m waiting for 14.5.1 to fix it

Try this, might help , go to Setting > select WiFi > beside your wifi connection name , press (i), > Private Address , slide to OFF.

Note : Your using now your phone fixed MAC address when this setting is set to off. When it’s ON, its changing automatically.

Not sure if this is a coincidence or you’re a genius, I’ll assume the latter.. switched this setting off and WiFi was blazing fast again, switched it back on and it’s still fast. So can’t repeat the problem but it’s working so thanks!

update, tried the same on my iPad with no success.
