I know this used to happen all the time when syncing but thought they might have figured it out this time.

I download a podcast on my iphone and it is also automatically downloaded on my computer either by subscription or iCloud. When I listen to it on my iphone then delete it on my phone on the next sync it transfers the podcast back to the phone.

Same thing goes with apps that i download and delete on the phone.

If they are trying to keep everything synced via icloud this needs to be included in some. If not deleting it from the computer at least don't resink it.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to handle this?

I haven't specifically been looking for this problem but I can't say I've noticed it yet either. I did a few wireless syncs yesterday, too. I have no ideas for apps, but could it be that podcasts are re-synced to your iPhone because listening to them on your phone for some reason doesn't mark them as "played" on iTunes (shouldn't it do that, though?), and you have iTunes set to sync all unplayed podcasts?
