Hi, i have an other question here, i find 2 Imac and need to know wich one is better?
I neet it for game production on Unity and Blender. Most 2D games to start but later would want to do 3D animation too. Here are the imac. Thank you all!
27" LED - Processeur Intel Core i5 quadricœur à 3.4 GHz - Memory 8192Mo - Stockage 1000Go - Cart Graphique NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2Go dédiés - Lecteur de cartes SD - WiFi 802.11 b/g/n - Bluetooth 4.0 - Mac OS X Mountain Lio
or
iMac 27, A1312 (EMC 2237) Processeur : Intel Core i7-860 Fréquence : 3,1 GHz Mémoire Vive : 8 Go Disque dur : 1 To Ecran : 27" Carte graphique : ATI Radeon HD 4850 - 512 Mo

Looks to me the first one is better. The i7 is a first generation part, for one thing. The i5 has a faster part (3.4Ghz) even at the same generation, more so if it is a newer part. Looks like the top one is a 2013 model. The i7 model is from 2009. I would say there is no competition- the i5 iMac is a better machine.

Oh really i didnt know the i5 was 2009 thats to old! So i7 vs i5 doest mean i7 is better then ok Thank you for your help.

Finally, look at blenchmark: http://blenchmark.com/cpu-benchmarks

(lower is better)

imac late 2009 has an i7 860, which scores 297 seconds
imac late 2013 has an i5 4670, which scores 243 seconds

quicksync, a feature of 2nd generation and newer intel cpus is also useful.
