Widget reset on Standby screen

I customized my standby screen with two widgets and removed all of the Apple supplied widgets. At night, my downloaded widgets are removed and replaced with the 5 installed widgets. This happened on my iPhone 14 and new iPhone 15. I disabled Smart Stack and reinstalled my widgets - all to no avail.
