Widgets on Lockscreen?

Quick question:

I'm almost 100% sure that I saw video somewhere whereby you can view your widgets on the Lockscreen (by swiping left), but without actually unlocking your iPhone but can't seem to figure out how to do this on my iPhone 6 (I see no options to view widgets on the Lockscreen)?!

Have I imagined this or does this not work on an iPhone 6?

Additionally, I've also seen that your phone will wake up, simply by lifting it up - again, is this for the newer iPhone 7 only?!

Raise to wake ==> 6s and up

Widgets on lockscreen ==> You're describing exactly how to do this. Just swipe left. Follow these instructions in reverse to make sure you have this enabled. https://www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-disable-lockscreen-widgets-ios-10-iphone/

Check you have them enabled on the lockscreen: Settings - Touch ID - Today View On.
