Widgets on MacBook Pro

I was looking up how to add widgets to my MacBook and everything seems to point to the bottom of Notification Centre, but there's nothing there.

Instead of going to the Notification Center, click on the date and time in your menu bar. It will open the available widgets and the edit widgets will be at the bottom of that
