Is there anyway to make a widget or a shortcut on my home screen for an app that doesn’t actually offer widgets? For example with the Amazon Alexa app. I would like to put some thing on my home screen that controls a few Alexa devices. Do any of these third-party widget creator/maker apps support that or am I out luck?

It just seems odd that an app like Amazon Alexa which controls devices all over the house doesn’t have a widget or shortcut option to access those devices on your home screen. I guess Amazon doesn’t want to make it too easy for Apple so they keep selling their products.

They want you to use Alexa directly, not on the iPhone.

Which I do, but I’d love to be able to control lights and things like the coffee maker without a verbal command as Well.
IFTTT has support for Alexa and should support widgets.

But they have recently also moved to a subscription-based model.
