Widgets?!

I honestly can't believe after allll these years apple can't figure out how to create something as simple as a weather widget on the lock screen like Samsung or so many other phones.. WTH!? I just saw some online post stating with ios12 they will have it but only in sleep mode WTF? Are they serious?? just why ... LOL this is the stuff about apple that has people really scratching their heads.... who has time to unlock their phone, go into an app then go into the weather in 2018? And its not just weather...... so lame

You just have to swipe right on the lock screen to see widgets. Apple have a widget for their stock Weather app and there are countless other apps (weather or otherwise) with widgets too.

Whether you think that counts as being on the lock screen or not is a separate matter to whether you really have to unlock your phone and open an app as you stated. You simply don’t have to do that.

I am sorry but that is not even remotely similar to what you would see on a Note 9, S9 or similar -- much more efficient. Dont get me wrong I like apple, but Jeeez, can't they do simple things like this or remove a notch ?? LOL.. shouldn't really be that hard. And the sad part is, everyone defends it! LOL
