Wierd 3G screen Problem?

Today I slightly dropped by iPhone and I thought everything was fine until I tried to access apps from my Bottom row, including ipod, notes, ect. It will not let me select the items, it will simply change from app screen to app screen or search.

Also, when I type in landscape it will submit the wrong letter or when I use the spacebar it puts two spaces in automatically? Will apple cover this strange problem?

If there is no visible damage to the outside of the phone chances are good they will cover it. However, the genius could make you try to restore the phone prior to replacing it. I wouldn't let it slip that you dropped it.

okay I figured, I just didn't know if I had a common problem so I could argue it.
