Wierd Netcape Issue

Whenever I try to open a page in netscape v7.01 (I keep a few browsers on hand, generally I only use Safari, but sometimes netscape) the operation times out, without loading anything. I have the prefs set for "direct connection to the internet" and there are no proxies in between me and the web, there is no reason that it should not be able to load pages. Strange. Thanks.

netscape is pretty buggy and likes to not load some pages. i suggest going back to that ARS Technica browser smackdown and choose a couple other browsers to try out. personally, i use safari, camino, mozilla firebird, and IE...in that order.
