Hey folks,
I've been having this issue with my macbook pro lately, and I've got no idea whats causing it, or if I'm able to fix it myself somehow.
Model: Macbook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
Processor: 2,9GHz Intel core i5
Graphics: Intel iris graphics 6100 1536MB
OS: macOS Sierra 10.12.1
Purchase date: Early September 2015.
Sometimes (not every time), when I open up my MBP, the screen looks as the first image below. After a few seconds (2-5 seconds) it returns to its normal state, as shown in the second image.
I've already tried searching for a case with a similar problem with no success. Tried resetting NVRAM, and running apples hardware diagnostic. Still nothing to go on.
It has also not been "mistreated". Its the only thing I carry in my backpack (inside the laptop compartment) and hasn't received any shocks or pressure.
Only option I have yet to try is formatting the harddrive and re-installing the OS. But I'd obviously prefer to it not coming to that, especially if it doesn't fix the problem. However if someone thinks it will solve the issue for some reason, I'll of course try it

Any and all help is appreciated!
