Wife deleted bookmark folder on iPad

Somehow my wife deleted one folder of bookmarks from the bookmarks bar on our iPad. Now all devices (iMac, touch, iPhone and MBA) have synced through mobileme with that deletion. Is time machine my only way to restore this lost folder?
