Hi all, I upgraded from the X and when I was home and on WiFi, It would always show VZW WIFI at the top which would indicate WiFi calling was on. Now with my XS the only way I can get it to activate is by turning airplane mode on and leaving WiFi on. My wife’s is the same. I’ve turned it on and off a few times and reset network settings as well.

Anyone having a weird issue like this?

VZW only engages Wi-Fi calling when signal hits below a predetermined signal level. Apparently your new phone has slightly better service st home than your X did, which appears to be the case for me as well. I’ve only seen Wi-Fi calling once at home, where on my X it was constantly enabled anytime I was indoors.

Ahh ok I had a feeling it was this. I couldn’t remember if WiFi calling was determined by network strength. Thanks!
