So your call just drops? Do you have VoLTE (or I believe Advanced Calling as Verizon calls it) enabled and have decent LTE coverage where you are? When I am home or at my shop and get or make a call, I'm on wifi calling, but when I leave the call doesn't just transfer over to the verizon network. Is this normal or is there a solution to it?
I do have it on and good coverage. So your call just drops? Do you have VoLTE (or I believe Advanced Calling as Verizon calls it) enabled and have decent LTE coverage where you are?
Interesting. VoLTE should take over from Wi-Fi calling and vice versa. When you make calls right outside your home or shop do you see that those are being made using VoLTE (basically you'd still see the LTE indicator at the top while you are on a call and be able to use data while you are on a call)?I do have it on and good coverage.
I'm not sure of the transfer between wifi calling and volte. I'll have to look in the faqs but I don't think these calls transfer.Interesting. I make use of that handoff fairly often when I'm on a call and leaving the house or coming back.I'm not sure of the transfer between wifi calling and volte. I'll have to look in the faqs but I don't think these calls transfer.
That's a bit trickier at times in the sense that Wi-Fi calling doesn't generally kick in unless there's poor cellular coverage. So even if you connect to WiFi you won't necessarily always have Wi-Fi calling in play.If I'm on a call and go home it doesn't transfer to wifi calling either, just stays on LTE
