Hey everyone,

I have noticed that after I jailbroke my phone, I started to have problems accessing the Internet. It's strange—even when I have a strong wireless signal or five bars of LTE, nothing will load. The only way to fix this it is to turn off/on my phone, and even that is only temporary. The problem comes back quickly.

Has had problems with connections on a jailbroken iPhone (iOS 8.1.2)? How did you guys handle it?

Never had that problem.
Maybe you have a faulty iphone or something that you installed after you JB from cydia is causing this problem.
Not the JB itself cause none of us have the same issue when we JB our devices.

Faulty iPhone? That would be surprising. I have had my iPhone 5 for more than 2 years now and I only got this problem after the JB in January. I suspect that it has to do with a tweak.

Can you post what tweaks you have on your phone? Do you have data that is being throttled possibly?
I don't think it has anything to do with data throttling (which I don't get anyways). After all, this problem persists even with wifi connections.

Tweaks:
  • AlienBlue++
  • AppList
  • ColorFlow
  • CyDelete8
  • f.lux
  • Facebook++
  • Flex 2 (Only app-specific patches)
  • Instagram++
  • MultiIconMover
  • NoAnnoyance
  • Phantom for Snapchat
  • SwipeSelection
  • VerticalVideoSyndrome
