Hi

Its not related to any of the macs (although we have only macs) in the house, but across all macs and other drives in my house my Netgear DG834N doesn't seem to be providing any internet via ethernet, I have no idea why, however I can pick up a good signal and receive internet connection via wifi connection to the router.

I hope someone could help out, would it possibly be any router settings? Something else?

Hope someone can offer some help of any kind, it would be hugely appreciated, thanks.

Well, it could be a setting thats disabling the DHCP service on your ethernet ports or the router could simply be failing. Have you reset it? Have you done a factory reset to default settings? Those are probably the first things I'd try.

Factory reset worked, thank you. However my wifi speeds seem to be a lot faster than ethernet. This is very odd, perhaps defective hardware.

Ya, ethernet should be considerably faster. What kind of cables are you using for ethernet.
