I've got an iphone 3gs JB w/ blackrain running the latest software. I've concluded the wifi issue is not my home router. My brothers laptop picked up wifi, no problem. I might get full service in my computer room (next to the router). but i go the next room over, or into my bed room (directly above) and i'm back to 3g. I went up to a lounge with free wifi with my friends. One has a vanilla 3g, and another has an ipod touch. Both were connected, full bars and the picked up the 5 other networks around. My phone found nothing, period.
It just started doing it this past week. I don't recall getting anything off cydia, aside from a new theme and the droid-style lock screen.

I've done a network reset, rebooted the phone... i'm really trying to avoid a full restore.

Anyone else having issues? i'm at a bit of a loss.

Put phone in airplane mode to disengage the wifi, then do reset network settings, then back out of airplane mode.

Try that a couple of times.

I tried it 3 times to no avail.
I'm also in columbus, oh (woo!) so it's obviously not a regional thing.

My friend thought he heard people complaining of a similar issue, but i've not heard or read anyone with this issue.

I went through and delete the few items i've put on my phone this past week, and nothing seems to be working really.

Lots of people have had Wifi issues after running Blackra1n, many who have not JB their phones have also had issues.

You could restore and see if it's still not working, if so, get a replacement.
