I've had an issue with iOS 15 that I've apparently been casually ignoring. Whenever my device restarts, WiFi gets turned off. This happens on both an old iPhone 7 and my iPad. The iPad is on 15.1, and the iPhone is on 15.2 beta 1. When each device restarts, I have to manually turn WiFi back on. It has the grayed out icon with the line through it in control center. I have reported the issue, but is anyone else experiencing this? I've searched the forum with no luck.

Have you tried going to Settings->General->Transfer or Reset iPhone->Reset->Reset Network Settings

This will only reset the settings related to the Network and Wi-fi and nothing else.

I did that on the iPhone but not the iPad. It didn't fix it.

It could be an issue within one of your backups if you used them to restore from instead of setting up as new. You could try doing a complete backup first, then do a Reset All Contents & Settings to restore the device as new. Do all the usual initial setup but do not restore from a backup and see if the issue persists. If it doesn't then you know the issue is with one of your backups you have restored from. If the issue still happens when setup as new then you can just restore from the most recent complete backup you just did to get back to where you were before.

The iPhone 7 was set up as new; I didn't use a backup. It's an old phone that I just use to test the betas (along with a XS, but I haven't turned that phone on in months). The iPad was updated from iOS 14 to 15 and then 15.1.

15.2 beta 2 seems to have fixed the issue on the iPhone 7. I guess I'll be waiting on 15.2 for the iPad to fix it there.
