Is anyone else going crazy because of the constant disconnection on Yosemite when their Macbook wakes up from sleep?

After I open my Macbook lid, the wifi is searching constantly and it takes anywhere from 1-5mins to find connection again.

Does anyone have any fixes? I've tried turning off Wifi then turning it back on and I thought this would make it turn on instantly and work but I still have to wait minutes for it to be stable.

Thanks!

I've found the 5ghz band to always be kinda jiggly. I noticed Yosemite to be a tad on the slow side connecting to any WiFi when waking from sleep. But I remember that happening with previous OS versions at first. It'll get worked out when the final version ships.

Did you try using 2.4GHz band? 5GHz band is very freaky.
That's all I use. Still having problems with wifi.

Thank you, I wish it was fixed already though!
