Wifi issues & returns

I have had endless wifi issues with my ipad since day one (all the symptoms). I've tried the endless suggestions and router tweaks as well, but nothing seems to be working.

I am thinking of returning my ipad to the apple store for a swap, or refund. Anyone done this? Should I expect any pushback from the Apple store folks? I do not want to pay the restock fee for what is their issue.

I have not done a return so I have no real-world experience to draw upon. However, I would guess that Apple would want you to have contacted support and tried the 'fixes' that they suggested. You might be able to do this by going directly to the 'Genius Bar' at an Apple store; might be quicker, especially if your unit shows the problem in the store.

I t must be just some router of maybe bad iPads as my iPad has not failed to hold a perfect connection with the 4 different WiFi areas I have used it in. In the WiFi works way faster than either of my notebooks.

Why not just call the store?
