WiFi locks device

When I’m home and on WiFi with dev beta 2 my device locks up. I have to close the app I’m on, turn off WiFi, then relaunch the app.
This only happens on my home WiFi, not at work.
Thoughts or suggestions please?

Sounds like possible interference or a channel signal issue. Try changing the WiFi router channel your phone connects to and see if the problem persists.

I have a 2.4 and 5ghz modem. Happens on both. Only my device with iOS 14 is affected.

Each of the two frequencies is set to a particular channel that was assigned by the router, and can be manually changed to a different one if there is suspicion of interference, drop signal etc. Sometimes changing the channel works and sometimes it doesn’t. And if it doesn’t, you will just need to ride the beta and see if the next build fixes the problem. I am guessing you are going to have to wait.

Do you have your WiFi settings on the iPhone set to Private WiFi by chance? Maybe that is causing the issue with initially connecting with your router if your router is configured with Mac addresses.
