I apologize if this is well covered, but I've searched in google and seen explanations that just don't fix my problem. I have a BRAND NEW (just bought a few hours ago) MacBook. I'm also new to Mac, so everyone please understand that when you hopefully tell me how to fix this.

I shut the lid on my macbook and let it sleep for a half hour or so and then when I opened it again my wifi connection to my home network wouldn't reactivate. Antenna icon greyed out and all I see is my neighbor's network. If I try to go to Open Internet Connect, I do see my home net but I have to REENTER my WPA password!! Yuck!

So, resetting the computer fixes it. Porque?
