Hi,

I was just wondering.
I have a wifi router installed in the basement of my house.
Next I just installed (FRITZ) powerlines with a WLAN function to increase the wifi signal in other rooms of the house. I just can't figure out how to set them as repeaters.
Instead they work as a new access point (and have new WIFI network names)

My question is:
does IOS 9 allow wifi network roaming?
i mean if ios knows 2-3 wifi networks in your house, will it automatically pick the strongest? and will it change to the other network when is senses there's a better signal?

further on if i give the network of my router the same name as de POWERLINE network can this be a fix?
(meaning if i connect my iphone to the router in the basement and go upstairs will it automatically change to the other access point if the network name is the same?)

thanks in advance!!!

set all the access points with the same exact name, security type and password. roaming will then be automatic.
+1 to this. Just make sure in the wireless settings that they are also on different channels each at least 2-3 channels apart from each other to prevent interference and you should be rocking.
