Is it possible to have 2 iMacs with different apple id's on the same wifi network? 1 Mac is 21inch 2012 model running Catalina the other is a 27inch 2020 model running Monterey 12.1.
Thanks

^^This.

I've got two Macs with two different Apple IDs on the same network, no problems. And there are others here that have even more Macs on the same network.

Apple IDs don't care what wifi it's on or wifi being shared. Example, go to any coffee shop and see how many MacBooks there sharing same wifi.

Only restriction is each must have a unique IP address. If router is setup for DHCP to pass out IP's, this will be automatic.
Thanks, I will have to check with the cable company on the router setup

Probably not... If your router provides wifi, which I think it does based on what you said, it has to do DHCP for wifi clients. There is basically no other consumer level equipment choice, your devices would not work.
In my house we have sometimes 4+ different Apple IDs used on 6+ macs and 8+ iOS devices (depends who is home). Standard wifi setup handles this. 99.99999% sure you are fine...
