Installed the latest public beta, build 21A5294G on my M1 MB Air and it has ip addresses, says it's connected, the router says it's connected using 5G but nothing will connect. Not Safari, not mail App, nothing. Have spent the last hour trying different "fixes" from the internet but nothing is working.

This Air worked great when running Big Sur so it's something in Monterey that's causing the issue.

Help???

ny somewhere
try rebooting your modem/router. change your dns settings. go somewhere with public wifi; does that work?

play with network settings, or try troubleshooting with an app like network kit (it's on the app store).

Seems that either Bitdefender VPN or PIA VPN was the problem. While neither VPN was "active" during the outage, uninstalling them both cured the issue.

Update, reinstalled PIA V 2.10 and I still have internet access. So probable culprit was Bitdefenders VPN. Can't test that at the moment but hopefully later today.
