Hi all,

I am on university placement at a school. I have a MacBook Pro and had been struggling to connect to their wifi network, finally went along today to their IT guy who changed a setting somewhere to make it work.

But now I am home, I can’t connect to my home wifi or hot spot my phone.

Anyone have some ideas of what I could change back to make it work again? I really want internet on my laptop for the weekend. And I will just hot spot my laptop while there for the next fortnight.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

when you click on the WiFi icon in the macOS Menu bar, and see your home WiFi network, and put in yr password for the network, what happens?

It turns out they added some proxies and a proxy bypass (?), I tried deleting those and all seems to be well now.

I appreciate you replying so quickly though! Thanks :)

So I will close this thread now.
