Hey!

Now that iPhone finally is a stand alone advice, ie doesn't require sync with computer, why would people want the iOS apps taking up space on their computer and make itunes syncing a pain? I just want my iPhone to sync my itunes music-library now since contacs and calendar are through icloud. But when I try to uncheck the sync apps button in itunes it still says that if I do all my apps will be wiped of my iphone.

I got alot of apps, I just updated 56 of them (update all in app store). Now when I want to sync the music I just added in iTunes (through wifi finally) the syncing process want to transfer all the app updates to my computer, which takes a hell of a long time.

Do you guys have this problem? I thought my iPhone finally could be a stand alone device, syncing photos, contacts, my calendar and more hassle-free trough iCloud, witch it does. But getting my music library on there painlessly through wifi (or cable) is still a mess.

I'm wondering the same thing too. Here's one work around, but it doesn't solve it entirely.

You can set your device to "Manually manage music and videos" so you'll never have to sync, just drag and drop.

But if you have an organized photo library, that's still something you have to get iTunes to sync for you. I'm sure there are apps that can handle your photos, but still... This may be another topic altogether, but photos still need to be dealt with properly in this whole cloud mess.
