Does wifi sync still work if you have iCloud syncing turned on?
Last night I noticed that my 4S didn't show up in iTunes, but my iPad did. Both are running the newest versions of iOS. My 4 worked fine with wifi sync, but I wasn't using iCloud at the time. When I switched over to my 4S I decided to try out iCloud for the transfer and it worked well, so I left it on. I was thinking that the wifi sync should still work on my 4S for syncing media though.
I checked in the settings last night and when I click on the wifi sync menu, the button is grayed out so I can't click on it.
Just wondering if something is not right, or if it doesn't work with iCloud syncing. I've seen people post about problems with it. I know I'm doing it right since my iPad works fine as well as my old 4. Are the problems just with the 4S?

Yes anything not synced via iCloud will still sync via iTunes--wifi or usb does not matter.

It's possible that wifi sync was switched off during an update or some other reason. Connect the 4S via USB and confirm iTunes is set to sync via WiFi. Fix if necessary.

Thanks. My problem might be that I didn't enable wifi sync when I connected the 4S via USB when I initially synced my music and stuff. Forgot I had to enable that manually while it was connected. That would probably explain why my iPad is still working fine.
