so downloaded and installed ios 5 on my ip4. had to do a restore first.

wifi sync as far as i know is on.. but not working.. nothing happens, never got any message about authorizing it..

also someone said that once i do that all i need to do is plug it in.. thats all. sounds too simple to me..

yes both macbook and phone on same wifi network.

yes both macbook and phone on same wifi network.

You have to turn it on on Itunes with the phone plugged in. You can then disconnect the phone and initiate wifi Sync. In general it will only kick off a sync on its own if (1) Itunes is open on the Computer (2) The phone is plugged into a power source (3) Both the computer and phone are on the same wireless network.
