1. What is being synched when using WiFi synch? Just my app data? Does it also synch images and videos?

2. I have plugged it into a wall and it does not seem to by automatically synching. Is it supposed to auto-synch each and everytime it is plugged in?

3. I just checked the iPhone and it says on the synch screen that it will resume when the Macbook Pro is available. What does that mean? Both the Mac and iPhone are on the same network.

Thanks!

1. Wi-Fi sync allows you to add/sync anything from iTunes and backup your devices wirelessly. Think adding music without plugging it in.

2. This link should help. Follow the steps.

3. You can force a sync from there. Once the steps above are done, your device will auto-sync when you plug it into power.

as hazy said, it's exactly the same as syncing when you are plugged in, just a bit slower. so everything gets updated.

you must have itunes running, and you must be running lion, or the current version of snow leopard.

Thanks guys.

I got it to work by following info from the link.

However, during my second synch it lost the connection and disappeared from iTunes (I have no idea why). I can't imagine this being good. Anyone know if this could cause problems or corrupt data?

I wouldn't worry about it. Just plug it back into power while watching iTunes to see if it reconnects.
