Im getting a 8GB iPhone 3G from O2. When they say I get free wifi, does that mean I can go on internet wherever without connecting to a router?

Well if you like to hang out at McDonalds you will. Some locations provide free wifi for the iphone. Other then that you will need a router at home or just use the 3G network from AT&T @ $30 a month.
